The Third European Forum on Social Innovations for Healthy and Active Life Expectancy

Chaired by Prof Vappu Taipale, this Forum is the last chance for input to INNOVAGE, and will provide a chance to shape the final outputs and the impact of the event project. Participants will be asked how INNOVAGE's activities can maximize wellbeing in old age and Healthy Life Expectancy.

A limited number of funded places are available for those who can contribute to the Forum: policy makers, practitioners, older people and their representatives, companies and NGOs with experience or interest in social innovations for ageing.

ERA-NET NEURON II Symposium on External Insults to the Nervous System

The NEURONE programme is specifically designed to exploit emerging scientific opportunities, overcome barriers to progress, and deliver novel approaches to prevention and intervention.

During the Symposium the following topics will be discussed: Epidemiological Studies on Environmental Brain Aggression; Environmental Brain/Nervous System Toxins and Infections; Drug Abuse, Stress, Psychiatric Disorders and Brain Development; Urban Environment and the Brain: Stress and the City; Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury; Rehabilitation, Exoskeleton and Brain Machine Interface.

A limited number of places are available for those who would like to attend the Symposium: especially young people, PhD students and residents, potential participants in the competitions for research projects organized within ERA-NET NEURON.
